Oral Thrush

Thrush is a yeast infection of the mucus membrane lining of the mouth and tongue. It is generally whitish and can appear on the roof of the mouth, gums, and lips as well as the tongue and is usually associated with Candida albicans. For this reason, antifungal protocols can be combined with oral rinses and tongue cleaning. Antifungal diets can also be considered along with very careful use of essential oils. Our extremely high quality oils are not diluted and are therefore very potent. A single drop of oil can be added to a mouthwash or warm water or even to oil used for oil pulling. In general one drop to a cup of water is more than enough for three mouth rinses. Exceeding the recommended dose is not recommended and anything used to gargle or rinse should be spit out, not swallowed.
