Rose hips come from the fruit of wild roses and are very high in vitamin C. Though this product was originally added because of its reputation for helping alcoholics to overcome addiction, studies in Scandinavia suggest that one of its major benefits is for osteoarthritis sufferers due its anti-inflammatory properties. For the same reason, it is often recommended for colds and asthma and for reducing gastrointestinal pain.
